This wine has plenty of personality, with lively cherry, liquorice, violet and blackberry notes. Ricasoli is a well-regarded and established house, making wine in Tuscany since 1141! In fact, Bettino Ricasoli – as well as being twice Prime Minister of newly unified Italy – undertook much research and was the first to ‘create’ the recipe and codify Chianti as we know it today.
